Operations Assistant

Location: Los Angeles

Description: We’re looking for an exceptional individual to join our team full time in Los Angeles. This person will work alongside a team of dedicated individuals in order to grow our Contributor relationships and fulfill Subscriber expectations.

Quarterly is a subscription service that aims to change the way we connect with the people that we follow and find interesting. We spend so much of our lives connecting with people online that we forget the value of tangible interactions that happen in the real world. Quarterly wants to bridge that gap by allowing anyone to subscribe to influential contributors of their choice and receive meaningful items that are curated and crafted to tell a compelling story.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service representative (part time) — Manage the hello@quarterly.co inbox. Key tasks:
    • Review all incoming emails, take action and respond where appropriate
    • Track trends and identify issues as they arise via the inbox. Notify management as necessary
    • Ensure Service Level Commitments are being met and customers are satisfied with our service
    • Escalate customer issues to management as necessary so appropriate action can be taken
  • Office manager — Manage ordering of office supplies, including furniture, Staples, Costco, etc.
  • Fulfillment assistant (as directed by Inventory & Fulfillment Manager) by assisting in the pick/pack process for all Quarterly Issues
  • Inventory assistant (as directed by Inventory & Fulfillment Manager) by assisting in inventory management
  • Special projects/data entry as assigned

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
  • Strong computer skills including: Excel/Numbers, Word/Pages,
