What can I expect to receive from Alexis?

You know how some kids take apart clocks and toasters just to see how they work? Well, I used them as god intended, to tell time and make toast. I knew about HTML, not the gears on my bike.

But then I wrote a book about green tech, drowning in patents. Inventors knew a language of cranks and compressors, of power and force. I wanted their greasy brown magic.

My objects will take you on short trips. You’ll play with the physical world as means of interrogation, even of mind expansion. As the Insane Clown Posse put it, “Water, fire, air and dirt. Fucking magnets, how do they work?” Seriously, and that’s not even getting to the mysteries of electromagnetism!

My gifts will be part science class and part history, sprinkled lightly with the bliss you felt out behind the gym when you looked up at the stars and thought, “Whoa. There are so many stars.” Your wonder was legit, even if you were really stoned.
